Young people want to be engaged in social action to make a difference in their world and local community.

Being under 18 means that you face some barriers to the types of things you can get involved in as in the UK you have to be legally safeguarded in any role you do.

Don’t be discouraged there are many ways you can get involved and the volunteer centre can help guide and give you information.

You can get involved through your school or youth club. You can set up your own project or find out about one of the many excellent programmes that already exist around the country by contacting any of the organisations below:
