Community Fridge Operations Volunteer

The purpose of a Community Fridge volunteer is to monitor food distribution, serve customers and set up food supplies, this contributes to the effective functioning of the Community Fridge and support its mission

Receive deliveries

  • Organise stock onto shelves
  • Meet and greet customers
  • Take payments
  • Rotate stock
  • Weigh food
  • Fill out monitoring forms
  • Open and close shop

Volunteers and staff will work proactively together to support the Community Centres.

There will be a supervisory member of staff each day.

Wednesday 10am – 12 noon

We encourage 2 shifts per month but are grateful for any gift of time you can offer.
