Community Volunteer (Northumbria)

This role suits individuals who want to make a positive impact on their community, enjoy teamwork, and are also confident working independently.

As a Community Volunteer, you’ll be part of a local team or committee, contributing ideas and initiatives to promote our mission of preventing and solving crime through anonymous reporting and increased community awareness.

Key responsibilities:

• Represent and promote Crimestoppers locally
• Support awareness campaigns, events, and outreach activities
• Participate in local volunteer or committee meetings
•  Work independently on ideas that align with Crimestoppers’ aims
• Offer feedback and suggestions to strengthen local community engagement.

This role involves travelling to locations in Northumbria and being at events representing Crimestoppers

• No specific experience required – full training provided
