Luv2MeetU are looking for volunteers to help us run events for the adults with learning disabilities and autism.
Either help our Community Coordinator be able to run bigger events or join up with a friend or family member as volunteers, train together then run an event! Take some of our club members to the cinema, out for a meal or a picnic in the park, once a week or every month whatever time you have available.
- We will provide full training, a DBS check and loads of support from the community and volunteer coordinators
- All your expenses will be paid, you’ll meet other volunteers, give back something amazing to the community, attain accredited training and invaluable experience for your CV.
We want to create a volunteer family in the Newcastle area, so that you as a volunteer get as much out of this experience as the people we support.
Skills
Any experience with adults with learning disabilities or autism would be useful, good communication skills and patience but full training is given and we just really need enthusiasm, commitment and a genuine desire to make a difference.
