Facilities Volunteers

Our Facilities Team ensure the smooth, safe, practical running of everything onsite at the Hospice. From furniture to fish tanks, DIY to PAT, we need your helping hands!


We have four Facilities Volunteer roles.


  • The Facilities Volunteer (Aquatic Care) supports the facilities team in providing a welcoming and attractive environment for patients, families and visitors through the care of our aquariums and koi pond
  • The Facilities Volunteer (Maintenance) supports the effective running of facilities across our Hospice site through assisting with maintenance tasks
  • The Facilities Volunteer (PAT Testing) supports the effective running of facilities across our Hospice site through carrying out Portable Appliance Testing
  • The Facilities Volunteer (Water Hygiene) supports the effective running of facilities across our Hospice site through assisting with tasks relating to water hygiene compliance

Skills

  • We have a variety of roles all based onsite in need of some practical and positive volunteers
  • Ideal for someone looking to develop their skills and experience as well as those with knowledge to share
  • All training provided
