To assist and serve customers, providing a good level of customer service

  • To help support the cooks / chef in running our community kitchen
  • Food prep and safe handling of food items.
  • Clearing down and helping to keep the kitchen orderly and safe.
  • Serving customers
  • Taking both money and card payments
  • Clearing tables and being polite and curious to customers

Skills

  • Enjoy cooking.
  • Have the ability to recognise kitchen health & safety efficiently with support if needed.
  • Have or being willing to do their food hygiene level two
  • Ability to use knives and kitchen hot plates with support if needed.
  • Must be polite and have a courteous tone.
  • Enjoy meeting people.

    Limited for wheelchairs although a prep area outside of kitchen could be provided and menus need designing with kitchen Administration in kitchen support
