Learning Support Assistant - Riverside Roots

We are looking for enthusiastic and empathetic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) volunteers to support with the delivery of our vocational skills programmes.

Volunteer LSAs at Building Futures East are key to the success of our courses and have a varied and important role.

Riverside Roots gardening project is Wednesdays 12:30-14:20.

There are a range of tasks involved in the LSA role and we are looking for motivated and friendly individuals to join our volunteer team.

LSAs support the tutor in delivering sessions, help learners on a 1-to-1 basis, prepare learning materials and the classroom space.

We ask for volunteer LSAs to commit to at least 2 hours per week.

LSAs undergo a range of training and the role is supported by our Local Programmes team and the tutor. Volunteers also have access to our wider learning programme and support.
