Receptionist - Newcastle Hospice

Be the welcoming face of our hospice as a Volunteer Receptionist where your kindness and support will make a difference

As a volunteer, you will:

• Greet visitors warmly and professionally
• Receive postal deliveries
• Forward messages, notices or requests
• Answer phone calls
• Keep the reception area clean and tidy.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient details and records
• Assist with other tasks as required.

Your contribution will assist in streamlining daily duties to allow the hospice to operate smoothly, making a real difference for those in our care and the staff that support them.

Availability: Weekday evenings Time: 16:30 - 19:00

Criteria:

• Minimum 18 years of age
• A Criminal Record Check is required for this opportunity - Marie Curie will cover the cost of this.
