We are seeking a dedicated Volunteer Coordinator to join our team and help us manage our invaluable volunteers.

The role:
You will be responsible for the fantastic group of volunteers that support our work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stewardship: Ensure our volunteers feel valued and supported.
- Recruitment and Retention: Attract new volunteers and maintain engagement with existing ones.
- Public Conduct: Manage how volunteers represent the charity in public.
- Training: Organise and oversee training sessions for volunteers.
- Code of Conduct: Implement and manage a code of conduct for all volunteers.
- Health and Wellbeing: Monitor and support the health and wellbeing of our volunteers.
- Activity Logging: Keep accurate records of volunteer hours and activities.

The person:
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Strong communication, interpersonal and networking abilities
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Experience in volunteer management (preferred but not essential)
- Compassionate and empathetic nature

Availability Details
Role varies across working week – some weekends notified in advance. We try to stay away from evenings but some of this work may be able to be coordinated in evenings.
