The Groups provide a mix of facilitated group discussion along with workshops and activities to help people effectively manage their own mental health. It provides a safe, confidential space for people who need support with their mental health.
It is a social group that welcomes all without stigma or judgment.
- For people who have limited social networks, feel alone or isolated because of their mental ill health and would benefit from learning more effective techniques to improve their health and wellbeing
- For anyone who volunteers you will be involved in welcoming new members, the delivery of the sessions as well as support members to build up a toolbox to support their own wellbeing and mental health
Skills
We would like a good team player and can work well with others. You will work under the direction of the Wellbeing Coach but will have good communication skills.
As we provide a safe, confidential space to support people with their mental health you should be non-judgmental and be able to demonstrate empathy with others.
You will be given an induction and training when you start the role as will be guided by the team.

Support on offer: 121’s available from wellbeing coaches on an informal basis, formal 121’s from Wellbeing Coordinator. Any additional support needs can be discussed. - Training provided
Safeguarding online course, professional boundaries training course and access to any internal training.
