‘How to spot fake news and misinformation’

With the rise of deepfake generative Artificial Intelligence, avoiding misinformation and being able to identify trustworthy content is becoming increasingly difficult.
Misinformation can take various forms, such as AI-generated images, videos, fake news and imposter content that falsely claims to come from legitimate sources.
As we interact with online content every day, inadvertently sharing misleading information can have serious consequences. This workshop will help us understand how AI can be misused to manipulate images and offer explain how to spot fake news, question sources and be able to verify credible content to stay safe online – not just for our personal safety, but for the benefit of the organisations we work with.
