Volunteer Coordinator Networking Forums


  • Are you a volunteer coordinator, or someone who manages volunteers?


  • Are you Interested in meeting people in similar roles, working in the voluntary and community sector to share best practice, local updates relevant to the sector and moral support?

 


Then you are invited to the Volunteer Coordinator Networking Forums. These sessions are based on themes chosen by coordinators and where possible we will have facilitation from a peer expert.

March 20th 10am - 12 noon
Safeguarding and risk management

Supported volunteering (by this we mean providing supported volunteering opportunities for harder to reach volunteer groups)

June 26th 10am - 12 noon
Managing volunteers with dementia- practical examples of best practice and those difficult conversations including with the persons support networks

Sept 25th 10am - 12 noon
Making the most of short term and one off volunteers "A Force for Good" Engaging Corporates who can't pay

All sessions will be held at Commercial Union House, 39 Pilgrim Street. Newcastle Upon Tyne. NE1 6QE.
