We are looking for friendly, supportive volunteers to help us with our morning and afternoon sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Each session runs for 2 hours and we aim to provide 1:1 volunteer support for people with dementia.
Activities include
- singing and music,
- pottery,
- crafts,
- sports and games.
Volunteers are encouraged to commit to one regularly session (weekly if possible, but we are flexible) to help build relationships with our members.
Skills
Volunteers need to be:
- Friendly and supportive,
- reliable,
- interested in working with vulnerable adults,
- positive,
- communication skills
- creative
