Art and Culture Programme Intern

Use creative practice to build dialogue, participation and cultural connection.

What you will do

• Research local artists, musicians, makers, cultural organisations and potential venues.
• Develop inclusive workshop and event ideas that encourage creativity and cultural exchange.
• Help prepare session plans, artist briefs, materials, schedules and small project budgets.
• Support delivery and, where appropriate, lead agreed creative elements under supervision.
• Gather approved content and feedback to document learning and creative impact.

Skills

SUITABLE BACKGROUNDS

• Art, Design, Music, Performance, Heritage, Cultural Studies, Arts Management or Community Arts.

ROLE-SPECIFIC STRENGTHS

• Creative thinking, cultural sensitivity, workshop organisation, artist liaison and audience engagement.

COMMON REQUIREMENTS

• A 2:1 degree or above in any subject.
• Determined, enthusiastic and respectful.
