Corporate Gardening activities

who we are: 

 The church of the Holy Nativity is a small registered charity that seeks to support the local community and the outer west of Newcastle. Faith is our motivator and something we share but it is not our agenda, the support and care of all people is, regardless of faith, creeds, or background.

This is why we work with various partners (Search, Everyturn Mental Health, and various council services and businesses) to provide various activities and support;

what we would like doing: 

We have two gardens:

• a peace garden (dedicated by the council of faith and open to the community)
• a dementia friendly sensory garden.

Unfortunately, they have not received the care they deserve.

In preparation for the recruitment of a Garden Community Lead, we are looking to give the garden a winter makeover -

• weeding,
• pruning,
• removing dead plants/bushes, (may include some repotting/planting),
• and replacing old membranes;

We can supervise and provide equipment for: 3 to 4 people at a time;

Timelines - we are flexible with date and time (but not possible in October);
