Cricketqube is looking for passionate and enthusiastic volunteer coaches to support our existing coaching team in delivering fun, inclusive, and engaging cricket sessions across the North East. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on coaching experience while making a real impact in the community.
As a volunteer coach,
- you will assist in setting up and running sessions, supporting participants of all ages and abilities, and ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment.
- You will work alongside experienced coaches to deliver cricket activities that encourage teamwork, confidence, and physical well-being.
- You will play a key role in making cricket accessible for everyone, including helping children develop their skills, assisting families in our intergenerational sessions, or working with older adults and individuals with disabilities.
- No formal coaching qualifications are required—just a love for the game, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to helping others. We provide full training and support, including safeguarding and first aid guidance. This role is perfect for anyone seeking coaching experience, meeting new people, and contributing to a meaningful community project.
We have a number of addresses across the North East where we deliver sessions. Currently, we have sessions in Newcastle City Centre, Deckam, Teams, Whitley Bay, Gosforth, Byker, etc.
