Discovery Museum - Halloween Haunter

This 3:30- 6:45 shift is suitable for those age 16+.

 6:45 - 10pm shift is for those 18+ only.

 

We are looking for volunteers who would be willing to dress up in Halloween costume and walk (haunt) the Newcastle Story Gallery during our Halloween event.

Skills needed

Good customer service and people skills

 

Good to know:

This is part of a silent Disco event and will be indoors in the main atrium at Discovery and in the Newcastle Story Gallery. The gallery will be dimly lit.

We have a couple of costumes that volunteers could  borrow.

Volunteers are allowed to wear their own spooky costume but must have it approved by the Discovery staff beforehand. 

Skills

To do this role you should be able to:

Understand times and dates
Follow simple instructions
Give one or two word answers
Have short simple conversations
Read signs and single words
Read short sentences and simple  instructions
