Moderators for our Living with Stage 4 Facebook Group

Our Living with Stage 4 Facebook group connects people affected by bowel cancer enabling them to give and receive support.

As a volunteer moderator you will use your experience and knowledge of having stage 4 bowel cancer to help make our group a safe and welcoming place.

• Using your experience of bowel cancer to support others, join in discussions and signpost members to appropriate sources of support
• Approving or declining requests to join the group
• Ensuring the group is welcoming and inclusive, and that members follow our rules
• Sharing ideas and concerns with Bowel Cancer UK staff and fellow moderators
• Attending regular moderator catchups with staff and other volunteer moderators
