Social media

Nova Radio North East is recruiting for a volunteer to manage our social media channels and engagement with our online audience.

The role involves the following tasks:

• liaising with presenters to promote individual radio shows. Artwork will be provided but will need posting on social media
• increase engagement with various posts to grow our social media audience, including regularly replying to comments and messages
• oversee all of the station's social media accounts: X, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube
• expand the station's digital presence by creating and posting short videos on TikTok and YouTube
• ensuring all content is posted with consistent adherence to the station's branding
• attending team meetings to share updates around social media engagement

Skills

Whilst an introduction will be provided to the station's social media platforms, it is important that applicants are aware of how to use social media and have experience of posting/sharing content.

The following will be helpful, though not essential:

• understanding of social media management and strategy
• understanding of branding 
• regular personal use of social media

Applicants will need to have access to their own device at home for this role.
