Join Connected Voice during Get Online week for an event aimed at Volunteer Coordinators across Newcastle and Gateshead. This is also open to lead volunteers and trustees that take a role in looking after volunteers within your organisation.
This training/event is part of the Get Online Week, 20-26 October 2025.
If you’d like to host your own Get Online Week event or training, this helpful toolkit can provide some support, ideas, and comms materials.
This event will give you an opportunity to learn hands-on skills to develop your digital literacy across a variety of tried and tested tools that will enhance your volunteer programmes and support you with capacity building. So, if there is an app, programme or online tool you have wanted to learn how to use, please do come along.
Tools that they may discuss and show you how to use include but are not limited to software such as Loom, Google Workspace, Discord and Monday.com. They will send all registered attendees a survey to get an idea of what you would like to learn to make the session more bespoke to those attending.
They will also be using this space to discuss all things digital inclusion related and share advice and best practise across both the Newcastle and Gateshead Volunteer Coordinators networks and will be providing lunch for you to enjoy on the day.
Places are limited so please book early to secure a place.
