Volunteering is changing.
More people want to help, but fewer can commit long-term. So how do we create opportunities that fit people’s lives while still making a real difference?
Last year, Little Village tested a bold idea, one-off volunteering. What started as a pilot has quickly become central to how they involve people, with one-off volunteers now set to outnumber their regular team.
At the next North Tyneside Volunteer Network meeting, delivered jointly between Volunteer Centre North Tyneside and Volunteer Centre Newcastle, guest speakers Daniela and Calleigh will share their journey. From onboarding and logistics to staff buy-in, promotion and measuring impact, they’ll talk about the challenges, opportunities and lessons learned along the way.
This is a members-only event for the North Tyneside Volunteer Network.
