Role Overview
The Community Learning Support Volunteer assists the session lead in delivering information and guidance on education, scholarships, and employment opportunities to community members. This role involves supporting workshop delivery, providing practical guidance, and offering encouragement to participants exploring learning and career pathways.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the session lead during workshops and sessions, ensuring participants receive clear guidance on educational and scholarship opportunities.
- Engage with participants to offer encouragement and answer general questions about learning and career pathways.
- Assist with reviewing personal statements for education or scholarship applications.
- Support participants in preparing for interviews or other application processes.
- Provide feedback to the session lead on participant needs and session effectiveness.
- Contribute to a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
