The Owl Tree Children’s Café CIC is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company based in Coxlodge. We provide a safe, affordable, and accessible space for families with young children, supporting them through everything we do.
The summer school holidays are one of our busiest times of year, and we are committed to providing affordable, engaging activities for local families. To help us achieve this, we are looking for volunteers to join our team over the summer period.
We are particularly interested in hearing from people who enjoy supporting families with young children in a community setting and who are also willing to assist with the food service side of the café.
Volunteers will support the day-to-day running of the café and community activities, including:
- Welcoming families and helping to create a friendly, inclusive atmosphere
- Providing support and assistance to parents and carers
- Serving food and drinks to customers
- Operating the till and handling cash transactions
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Supporting craft activities and play opportunities for children
- Encouraging children to engage with activities and interact positively with others
- Assisting with general café duties as required
Volunteering hours are flexible and can be tailored to individual circumstances where possible.
Closing date for applications 15/08/2026
