To provide a warm, festive welcome to families attending the Canny Christmas Grotto, helping create a joyful and memorable experience with a touch of Geordie charm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests at the entrance and guide them through the event space.
- Assist with queue management and ensure smooth flow of visitors.
- Engage with children and families, spreading festive cheer.
- Support Santa’s elves in coordinating activities like festive crafts and photo opportunities.
- Answer basic visitor questions about the event and museum facilities.
- Help maintain a safe and friendly environment for all guests.
Volunteers may be invited to wear festive or themed attire (e.g., elf hats or black-and-white accessories).
- Refreshments provided during shifts.
- Travel expenses reimbursed (subject to policy).
