English Teacher (Basic/Intermediate)

We are looking for a friendly and motivated volunteer English Teacher to support basic and intermediate English language learners within the community. The role involves helping adults and young people improve their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills through engaging and practical lessons adapted to different abilities and learning needs

The volunteer may support group classes, conversation sessions and one-to-one learning activities, helping learners build confidence in everyday

• Lessons may include topics such as daily conversations,
• grammar,
• pronunciation,
• reading comprehension
• and functional English for daily life

Skills

• Applicants should have some previous experience in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, coaching or supporting learners, particularly in English language learning or community education.
• Strong communication skills, patience and the ability to create a welcoming and inclusive learning environment are essential.
