At Children North East, it truly is people who power our work. Volunteers bring many important things to our charity; unique perspectives, new ideas and expertise and the opportunity to grow our impact for babies, children and young people across the North East (and beyond).

• provide mentorship to young people at important moments in their life
• help our communities team put on fun events for children
• support our families through challenges
• provide special expertise, from mental health support to professional services
• support us to deliver exciting fundraising events?

Skills

All you need to become a volunteer is a passion for improving the lives of babies, children and young people.

• We’ll provide the training and support you need to feel confident in your role and work with you to find activities that suit what you want to commit to the role.
• We actively seek volunteers from diverse backgrounds and with different lives and work hard to create an inclusive environment for all. Whoever you are, you can make a difference.
