Fundraiser

wishesjust4you CIC are looking for Fundraiser volunteers to source local funds to realise the wishes of disabled or ill children. 

This role involves the following tasks:

• identify local opportunities for fundraising. These could be physical venues, like high streets or supermarkets. They could also be local businesses or funds
• represent the organisation at fundraising activities, talking to interested people about our work and encouraging them to donate. Alternatively, you could place fundraising boxes or tins at local venues and periodically go around emptying these
• plan and lead on local fundraising events, or attend local events representing the organisation, for example by running a wishesjust4you stall
• carefully record and process donations
• help to write funding bids, or pass on details of local funding opportunities to others within the organisation who could do this.

This role can be completed independently in your local community, or you could look to join up with other Fundraiser volunteers in your region.

• ability to handle cash carefully and accurately
