We're really excited to get this project underway and would love to work with you and any individuals or groups who would be interested in getting involved in transforming the outdoor space beside the Carnegie Building.
The project will be very community-led, with opportunities to support:
- Community clean-up days
- Building raised planters
- Planting flowers, fruit and vegetables
- Painting and decorating
- Youth graffiti/community art
- Creating painted kindness stones
- Ongoing gardening and maintenance through a Community Gardening Group
We're currently finalising the plans and hope to start the first volunteer sessions over the next few weeks.
