  • Engaging with children and carers .
  • Providing a range of play activities suitable for children from birth to 5 years.
  • Be able to work in a team.
  • Prepare healthy snacks for children.
  • Have physical ability to set out some large equipment and put it away.
  • Have some organisational skills.
  • Be prepared to undergo some training.

Skills

  • Volunteers would ideally have some knowledge of working with very young children and their carers.
  • Be aware of the needs of young children and carers.
  • Have good social skills .
  • Be physically able.
  • Be part of a team.
