Local Administrator

wishesjust4you CIC are looking for Local Administrator volunteers to connect with local organisations and deliver resources to ill or disabled children in hospital. 

This role involves the following tasks:

• reaching out to local businesses that have offered to donate materials. The organisation has some existing partners in Newcastle so the role will involve keeping in regular contact with them.
• collecting donated materials, such as card and paper, from businesses and arranging their delivery to hospital wards or transporting them
• making contact with local hospitals and hospices to find out who would benefit from the organisation's work, linking up local donations with children on the wards.

Skills

This role would suit someone with the following skills:

• confidence to make phone calls and communicate with local partners
• ability to travel around Newcastle to local businesses and hospitals. Having access to public transport or your own car would be beneficial
• good administrative skills, with the ability to clearly record information and manage multiple relationships.
