Middlesbrough Course Marshal

Be part of an exciting city-wide running event and help keep runners safe, supported, and on course. As a Course Marshal, you’ll play a vital role in delivering a smooth and enjoyable race day experience.

What you’ll be doing:

Make a Difference:

• You’re directly helping runners have a safe, enjoyable race.

• Work with friendly, like-minded people and feel part of the event community.

• Gain experience in event management, communication, and teamwork.

• Confident giving clear directions
  
• Comfortable being outdoors in all weather conditions
  
  Desirable (not essential):
  
• Previous volunteering or event experience
  
• Experience in a customer-facing role
