Whether it's a relaxed trip to the local shops or a chat over coffee, our volunteers are there to make sure our veterans have a great day out.
We are committed to supporting our blind veterans no matter where they are.
Our outings volunteers provide crucial social interaction for our veterans who can sometimes feel isolated or lonely.
We have a member in the Kenton area who is looking for social companionship and access to the local community whether that be a trip to the shops or a local café.
Please note that applicants who drive and have their own car are preferrable for this role
Weekends can be discussed with the member and the volunteer if this suits them both.

Skills
- Volunteers must be over the age of 18 and understand the importance of relationship boundaries.
- The role can be flexible around your other commitments, but we ask that you are reliable and punctual for our veterans.
- You will be fully trained and supported so you feel comfortable and confident in your volunteering.
- Being a driver with a car is preferable
