Refreshment & Catering Volunteer – Newcastle Hospice

Be the welcoming face of our hospice as a Volunteer Receptionist where your kindness and support will make a difference

Transform mealtimes by supporting with the following:

• Prepare and serve drinks
• Serve meals to patients
• Refill water jugs with ice and water
• Clear meal trays and load the dishwasher
• Support the catering team by maintaining cleanliness of the ward kitchen and communal areas

Your contribution will assist in streamlining daily duties to allow the hospice to operate smoothly, making a real difference for those in our care and the staff that support them.

Availability: 2 hours (or more) any weekday or weekend

Time:

• Breakfast 7.30 -9.30
• Lunch 12:00 - 14:00
• Tea 17:00 - 18.30

Criteria:

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• A Criminal Record Check is required for this opportunity - Marie Curie will cover the cost of this.
