World of Possibilities - Corporate Supporters

When Cheviot Primary School was inspected in May 2022, Ofsted said “staff in the school open up a world of possibilities for pupils.”

This is one of the things we are extremely proud of in our school but we would like to work on this even more this academic year in a project we are naming ‘World of Possibilities’.

The vast majority of our parents and carers do not work so children do not have these influences at home.

It is therefore our responsibility to provide children with information about the wide range of jobs, careers and opportunities which are available to them. We want our pupils to be aspirational about their futures and to have high expectations of who they can grow up to be.

We would like to find as many people as we can who work in very varied jobs to come into school to talk to the children.

This might only be a 20 minute assembly with all pupils but it could also be a workshop with an individual class or a few classes.

This will depend on the person, their job and time restrictions.

Unfortunately due to a tight school budget, we are not able to offer any monetary contributions for your time but we can offer you a warm welcome, a coffee and amazing children to spend a small amount of your time with
