We are looking for volunteers to help us to keep the centre looking beautiful and welcoming.
Tasks may involve:
- Making sure that the milk, tea, coffee, sugar is stocked in the kitchen and purchasing more if and when necessary using money from petty cash
- Making sure that the chairs are stacked neatly
- Making sure that the yoga mats and blocks are arranged neatly
- Shredding and disposing of documents
- Hoovering, cleaning surfaces, emptying bins
- Watering plants and arranging flowers
- Creating seasonal displays
- Updating the blackboard with information about classes for the week
This role forms part of Volunteer Passport Scheme Newcastle and requires you to complete one day of training with Newcastle City Learning. If you would like to apply please email Pam.Robinson@volunteeringmatters.org.uk
