Activity Coordinator

Bring joy and connection to our Newcastle Hospice.

As an Activity Coordinator Volunteer, you’ll help run relaxed, creative activity sessions for people affected by terminal illness and their loved ones.

Working alongside our clinical team, you’ll help make each session welcoming, uplifting, and enjoyable.

What you’ll do:

• Welcome participants and create a friendly, supportive environment
• Deliver creative, calming or fun activities
• Chat with patients and families
• Help plan and lead activity sessions
• Assist with materials and simple tasks as needed

Availability: 2 hours, weekdays or weekends

Time: 10am – 12pm or 1pm – 3pm

Requirements: Age 18+. Criminal Record Check provided by Marie Curie.
