Café Support (Front of House)

Role Purpose Café Support Volunteers help create a friendly and welcoming environment in our café by supporting front-of-house operations. This role is ideal for individuals interested in gaining experience in customer service, hospitality, or working in a busy community setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide a friendly first point of contact
• Assist with taking orders and serving food and drinks
•  Support keeping the café clean, tidy, and well-presented
• Help clear tables and maintain a pleasant environment for customers
• Assist staff during busy periods
• Promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere within the café

The cafe is open 3.00pm -7.00pm Mon - Fridays 

9.00-4.00pm on Saturdays

10.00-3.00pm on Sundays.

Important Note Volunteers will not be expected to carry out tasks requiring formal food hygiene certification unless trained.

All volunteers will receive basic guidance on hygiene and safety.
