Community Litter Pickers

A Community Litter Picker in the park helps keep shared green spaces clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone by taking part in regular group litter‑picking sessions. Working alongside other volunteers, they collect rubbish from the parks and play areas and help identify problem spots that need extra attention and report any larger waste or maintenance issues to staff.

This role is ideal for anyone who enjoys being outdoors and wants to make a positive, visible impact on their local park.

As with all our roles, we ask you to complete a short application form so we can set you up on our volunteer system. You’ll then be invited to book a brief introduction call with our Volunteer and Community Engagement Specialist. This friendly, informal 15‑minute chat is an opportunity to talk about what you’re looking for, explore which roles might suit you best, and learn more about how to get involved.
