Sharing your skills and time supports the work of GLOWworks Creative Skills and Careers Clubs in primary and secondary schools across Newcastle.
These clubs exist to show children and young people how creativity is used in everyday jobs and how these same skills crossover with freelance, contracted and employed roles in the local Creative and Cultural Sector.
Depending on your skills and interests, you might be working outside club time, without children or young people present, for example helping create or improve a particular space or resource which is key to club activity.
On the other hand, if your skills and interests lie in passing on your working knowledge, you may be asked to participate in a workshop, to show or demonstrate your skills with the workshop leader and the young people.
