- Accepting donations from the general public
- Sorting donated stock and quality checking it
- Preparing stock for sale
- Â Researching stock e.g. via the internet or through local contacts
- Where appropriate pricing stock
- Creating attractive displays
- Help with moving of shop furniture
- Any other reasonable duties as requested by the shop manager
Skills
- Good eye for detail
- The ability to work in a small team
- Good interpersonal skills to deal with members of the general public, staff members and volunteers
- A reasonable level of health and fitness to help with the moving of furniture
- Have empathy with the Hospice values and environment
